Our Founder's Story
Meet Geraldine, the heart and soul behind Gee Marie Boutique Kids. Her journey began in 2015 when she meticulously crafted her very first little pink party dress. The joy and creativity she poured into that dress quickly caught the eye of a neighbour and found its new home. That moment marked the inception of Gee Marie Boutique Kids, a venture fuelled by passion and a commitment to handmade perfection.
Expanding Horizons
From that single party dress, we've grown to offer a diverse range of handmade baby and children's clothing and accessories. Our collection now includes dress designs, peasant tops, bibs, bloomers, rompers, and headbands. In addition to our signature handmade pieces, we've curated a selection of other products from New Zealand and Australia, including wooden toys and organic items.
Local Roots and Online Reach
While our journey began at local markets in Nelson, we've transitioned to primarily selling through our online store. This shift allows us to share our unique creations with families far and wide, ensuring that every child can enjoy the charm of New Zealand-made baby clothes. We also sell in several Nelson and Tasman stores: Potter's Patch in Motueka and Little BeeHive in Nelson. We always have a range of beautiful children's clothing on display and available to purchase in these stores.
