About Us

Hi my name is Geraldine and I am the founder and operator of Gee Marie Boutique Kids. I make and sell handmade bespoke Children's and Baby clothes and accessories. Every single creation has been made with love and care by myself in my Nelson sewing studio.

I started Gee Marie Boutique Kids in 2015 after finishing just one little pink party dress. I had such enjoyment making this little dress and It was quickly sold once one of my neighbours got a peek at it.

Since then I have expanded to more dress designs, tops, bibs, bloomers, rompers and headbands. My love of florals and beautiful patterns inspires my fabric choices and I prefer to sew with natural and organic fibres such as linen, merino and cotton. There is a beautiful and modern vintage vibe to my creations but I also can't stay away from using bold and vibrant colours. 

Whilst 95% of my products are individually made by me, I also have a small selection of New Zealand and Australian made toys and organic items that you can find available on my website. These products are carefully selected with excellence in finishing, and latest trends in mind.

Located just outside of Nelson, I regularly attend the local markets in my area and you can often find me at the Mapua Makers Market. My bespoke clothing pieces can also be found at Little Beehive in Nelson and Potter's Patch in Motueka. 

I have also moved to selling on my online children's clothing store where you can see my full range and latest designs. The products I hand make are sewn and finished with the utmost care to detail. Endeavouring to bring the best finished products I can to the market at an affordable price. Using beautiful quality cotton fabrics. My fabric is always washed before the clothes are made, avoiding any further shrinkage.
